I was a little concerned that no mention was made of the Nike+iPod Sport Kit during today’s introduction of the new iPod nano (known as the “fatty” in some circles). Even Apple’s new iPod nano web page doesn’t mention Nike+iPod integration anywhere.
However, skip over to the redesigned Nike+iPod page an you’ll see how the [...]

Apple’s marketing ability never ceases to amaze me. They announce the coolest product in the world, they sell millions of them, and just as demand starts to wane, they announce an upgrade that makes the old one seem dull by comparison. Today we saw this happen with the colorization of the iPod shuffle. Colors were [...]

I guess it’s good to [...]

For those of you who caught wind of the Register’s report yesterday that iTunes music sales were “collapsing,” you may want to pop over to Josh Bernoff’s blog to get a more reality-based version of the story. Bernoff is the source of the Forrester report that sparked this minor panic (shares of Apple stock fell [...]
Macworld announced the winners of their 22nd annual Editors’ Choice Awards yesterday, and the Nike+iPod Sport Kit was among the 29 winners. While that in itself isn’t very surprising, what is surprising is that the Sport Kit was the only iPod-related product to make the list. No shuffle, no nano, not even the toilet paper [...]
