iPod Bartender

With New Year’s weekend upon us, it’s time to remind everyone about the little iPod add-on that no self-respectiong podophile should be caught at a party without: iPod Bartender. iPod Bartender is a free database of 230 cocktail recipes which can be easily dropped into your iPod “Notes” folder and viewed on the screen. The recipes, which come from DrinkStreet.com, are divided into 16 categories for easy searching:

To install iPod bartender, make sure you’ve checked “Enable disk use” on iTunes’ “iPod Settings” screen. After downloading the .zip file from the website, unzip it and drop the resulting folder to the “Notes” folder on your iPod. Using your iPod, you can now navigate to Extras>Notes>iPod Bartender 1.1 to see the recipes.

iPod Bartender works on all iPods from the 3rd generation onward (shuffles excluded, obviously).
