Set your Tivos. The Discovery Channel, a U.S. cable television network, has scheduled a program titled “The Inside Story Of The iPod” to air on Wednesday, December 27th at 12:00 noon (et/pt). The hour-long documentary is described on the Discovery Channel’s website:

The iPod Revolution goes behind the scenes to uncover how Steve Jobs brought Apple back from the grave to create one of the most popular electronics devices ever made: the iPod.

For those of us familiar with the story already, I doubt that there will be much in the way of new revelations or surprises. But for newcomers to Apple and their products, it might be a good way to get a basic introduction to the company and its CEO.
